Built by someone about to sit in the hot seat himself.
I grew up around aviation. My dad's an airline pilot, my grandfather flew too, and I earned my Private Pilot certificate before heading into Auburn's professional flight program this year to start working toward a career in the cockpit.
The oral exam was the part of my own checkride I found hardest to prepare for. I'd read the ACS cover to cover and still had no real way to know what my examiner would actually ask, and getting a full mock oral with a CFI wasn't always easy to schedule. Clearance is the tool I wish I'd had — grounded in the ACS, honest about where I actually stood, and available whenever I wanted to practice.
I'm building it now alongside my own training at Auburn, with my dad's perspective as an airline pilot in the mix. It's early, and I'd genuinely like to hear from other student pilots, CFIs, or anyone who's sat across from a DPE — reach out any time at team@clearanceprep.com.
